An apostolate of the Willwoods Community

The Faith & Marriage Apostolate of the Willwoods Community is dedicated to promoting the Sacramentality of marriage and providing for married couples opportunities for growth, enrichment, and support.

Willwoods Community was established in 1978 by a group of married couples desiring to support the Catholic Church and the community through prayer and service. Since then, Willwoods Community has grown to serve in different areas, including Faith and Marriage, Affordable Housing, WLAE TV, and TheDailyMass.com.

Meet our Director: Jason Angelette

He and his beloved (late) wife Elise co-authored the marriage enrichment program United in Love, United in Christ, and planned and spoke at retreats nationwide during their thirteen years as co-directors of the Willwoods Community Faith & Marriage Apostolate, a Catholic Non-profit located in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Jason earned a Master of Theological Studies degree from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family at the Catholic University of America. His experience includes high school campus ministry, teaching theology at the high school and college levels, Catholic podcasting with The Point Man, and co-hosting Faith and Marriage Today on WLAE.

Meet our Staff:

Eric and Nicole Cedor have been married for 19 years and are the parents of 3 beautiful daughters.  They are parishioners at both Eric’s childhood parish of St. Peter’s in Covington and Mary Queen of Peace Parish in Mandeville, where Eric serves as a music minister.  The Cedor’s are a part of the Willwoods Faith and Marriage “Core Team,” and delight in lending their talents towards the fortifying of strong, Christ-centered marriages.  Their youngest daughter, Mia, was born with a very rare neurodevelopmental disorder and requires constant care.  Their experience in navigating the challenges inherent in raising two typical teenage daughters in conjunction with a medically fragile child informs the main substance of their message to married couples: joy and peace are possible in even the most difficult of circumstances.
