085 – Rhonda Gruenewald on increasing vocations in the Church

Well, we talk about vocations and discernment often in this show and today I want to take a systemic approach to the questions and ask what parishes and schools can do better to increase awareness about vocations. And since it is national vocations week, I thought it’d be a great time to share this discussion.

To help me think through how to do that is Rhonda Gruenewald, author of the books “Hundredfold” and “The Harvest” and founder of the ministry Vocation Ministry. In today’s episode we talk about her journey of faith and what led her to start a ministry dedicated to helping parishes and schools create a culture of vocations, how to talk to your kids about different vocations without putting pressure on them, and examining a few of the many practical suggestions she offers in her resources.
